The best binoculars are not necessarily the most expensive.

It all depends on what you want to do with the binoculars. Most binoculars are used for things like birdwatching watching sports on a stadium or nature watching.

The binoculars are usually measured in numbers like 8 X 40, 10 X 50. These numbers indicate the magnification which is the 8 or the 10, and the departure. I have used Olympus binoculars because a cousin of mine is very fond of watching birds.

I feel that it is good to have a pair of binoculars with you when you go for a trip. Even if it is to watch a Fort or to look at something interesting far away. If you're visiting a wildlife sanctuary, then a pair of binoculars is essential.

Here is a picture of a normal pair of binoculars:

Buying binoculars is very easy because they are easily available online. If you are in Delhi then you can also go to Palika Bazar in Connaught Place, where there are several shops selling Olympus binoculars. The usual price of a decent pair of binoculars is about 2500 rupees. These are enough for most purposes. If you are buying just for fun then go in for a pair that will cost less that 1000. The more money you pay for the binoculars, the better the image will be. But how good do you actually need the image to be?

If you want to look at some of the most popular binoculars that are sold online then have a look at this article- http://www.top10in.in/top-10-best-binoculars-in-india-2016/
